Individual Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is about understanding your thoughts and emotions. It is typically an interactive, collaborative process based on dialogue and the patient's active engagement in joint problem-solving with a psychologist.

Sessions are typically one hour and the frequency is entirely up to you and your clinician. It is an individualized process that through working with a psychologist helps individuals to gain insight into behaviors and patterns that they or their families may not notice. Understanding and addressing their symptoms often leads to the alleviation of their stress and emotional discomfort.

For children and adolescents, he approaches therapy from a systematic approach that examines the family structure and helps parents to understand the issues and aid in treatment.
