DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Yes. We accept most insurances. Please call us for more information.

DO YOU ACCEPT MEDICAID?

Currently, we do not accept Medicaid. However, we do offer low-cost counseling for Medicaid patients and for patients without insurance. Please call us for more information.

DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?

Yes. Please contact us for more information.

HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?

Therapy sessions take 50 minutes.

HOW LONG DOES AN ASSESSMENT TAKE?

Assessment duration varies, and we cannot know how long it would take. However, generally speaking, most assessments can take between 3 - 4 hours.

WHEN WILL I GET MY REPORT? WHEN WILL MY FOLLOW-UP SESSION BE SCHEDULED?

It usually takes around 3 weeks for your report to be ready. Our team will assist you in scheduling a follow-up session around that time.

WHY SHOULD I OR SOMEONE I KNOW BE EVALUATED?

If you have concerns about memory loss, driving concerns, concentration, finding words, organizing daily tasks, making decisions, work performance, managing financial affairs, recovery and adjustment after illness or trauma, behavioral problems, impulsivity or poor judgment, agitation or restlessness,  mood and affect changes, increased irritability, feelings of sadness or anxiety, and/or loss of meaning. 

Or if you have a history of attention problems, loss of consciousness, traumatic brain injury, stroke (CVA), substance dependence, diabetes, seizure disorder, HIV disease, personality change, chronic mental illness, and/or declining performance

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS AND NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS?

Psychological evaluations assess personality, achievement, capability or fitness for duty, surgical clearance, mood, anxiety, depression, and more. Neuropsychological evaluations assess memory issues, ADHD, autism, dementia, developmental delays, and more. Learn more.

WHAT SKILLS DO NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS MEASURE?

Neuropsychological evaluations measure visual-perceptional abilities, social cognition, language and speech, learning and memory, attention and concentration, executive functioning, adaptive functioning, academic functioning, intellectual functioning, motor skills and coordination, and personality assessment.
