NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION

Neuropsychological evaluations are a group of tests that measure a person's current level of cognitive functioning. Data gathered from these tests help to determine the presence of any brain damage, disease, severe mental illness, or other neurocognitive or neurodegenerative disorder.  The results also help to differentiate between normal cognitive functioning (aging, anxiety, social/environmental factors) and more severe conditions that cause abnormal thought processes or behaviors.
